GraySide Projects is the professional moniker of Montreal-based writer and editor Karyn Gray. Karyn grew up on the South Shore of Boston before moving to Montreal back in 1999, making her hockey loyalties a complicated affair. Since graduating from McGill University with a BA in English Cultural Studies, she's worked as a localization editor for major Hollywood studios; a street art & culture magazine editor; a contributing arts & music writer for various publications; and a copywriter for corporate clients and smaller collectives.
Karyn's first book, Black Sheep: An unconventional look at good ol' family values, was released in 2010. She likes the ocean, the Sunday New York Times Crossword, globe-trotting, Gothic novels, the Oxford comma, and her lordly Chihuahua, Faux Mulder.
Her perfect match: creative & diverse agencies, media outlets, local galleries, niche brands and collectives who are passionate about what they do and know the value of finding the perfect words to convey that passion to their audience.
